As the owner of Local Roots, I believe food is best when it comes straight from the farm and is made with love. Our mission is to serve our guests an abundance of thoughtfully prepared, locally sourced goods while continually seeking out new, high-quality ingredients that reflect our passion for great food and community.

We are proud to be Ohio Proud, featuring Ohio all-natural Amish chicken, Ohio pork, Ohio bison, and Ohio all-natural, hormone-free beef. Our family farm, located just outside downtown Powell, supplies fresh produce for our restaurant whenever possible. When items aren’t grown on our farm, we work closely with local vendors to source the best seasonal produce.

Our commitment to local extends beyond the plate. Of the 24 beers on tap, several are brewed right here in Ohio. We also offer a selection of Ohio bottled beers and spirits from local distilleries.

To make the most of the freshest seasonal ingredients, our menu changes often, with weekly seasonal specials inspired by what’s growing and available. We are always striving to increase the amount of local goods we use while seeking new, quality ingredients to bring fresh flavors to our guests. Be sure to stop in often and see what’s new.
